Salutations! Hi, I am Ms. Hennrikus and I will be your child's Religion, Language Arts, and Literature teacher this year. I want to take this time to let you know a little bit about myself and how my classroom will be run. This year will be a year of change both academically and personally and I am excited to guide your children spiritually, intellectually, and socially on this 6th, 7th, and/or 8th grade journey.
As a teacher, I consider myself to be creative, energetic, and nurturing. I believe in the uniqueness and dignity of your child and I will dedicate my professional experience and faith as a Catholic to help your child reach the fullness of their potential. My classroom will be high-energy and thought provoking. Students will develop their critical thinking skills, which include: applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and "thinking outside the box." In my classroom, I will promote a safe environment that encourages creativity and risk taking. Your child will have a tremendous amount of fun this year! |
